High-density rack installed in a refrigerated warehouse

Racks for cold rooms and refrigerated chambers

High density where every cubic meter counts

In a refrigerated chamber the refrigerated space is the most expensive resource, and so is the time the forklift spends inside. That is why the most used systems in cold rooms are high-density, front-loading ones:

  • Push back when there are several pallets of the same SKU per lane and rotation is LIFO.
  • Drive-in when there are few SKUs with high volume.
  • Pallet flow when expiry dates demand true FIFO.

Finish and operation at low temperature

We build the components with a finish for operating in refrigerated and freezer chambers, and we design the system considering condensation, forklift traffic and NOM-026-STPS signage inside the chamber. The exact finish specification is delivered with the engineered quote.

If you already have the measurements of your chamber and pallet, use the online quoting tool for a preliminary price and a specialist will contact you about the project.

Frequently asked questions

Which system suits a cold room?

High-density ones, because refrigerated cubic meters are expensive: push back and drive-in for few SKUs, pallet flow when expiry dates demand FIFO. A specialist defines it with your turnover.

What finish do freezer racks get?

We can apply a coating suitable for refrigerated and freezer environments; the finish specification is delivered with the engineered quote.

What information do you need to quote cold room racks?

Chamber and pallet dimensions, weight per pallet, operating temperature, forklift and rotation (FIFO or LIFO). With that, the quoting tool gives a preliminary price and the specialist adjusts the project.
