Industrial shelving collapsed by structural damage, the risk a technical inspection prevents

Technical inspections

Rack inspection is a critical process to guarantee staff safety and the correct operation of the storage system. We classify rack damage into three severity grades and tell you what to replace and when.

  1. 01First-grade damage

Cosmetic scratches limited to the paint. They only need monitoring.

  2. 02Second-grade damage

Surface oxidation that has not pitted the steel, and deflections still within the elastic range (the member returns to its original shape). Replace as soon as possible.

  3. 03Third-grade damage

Excessive deflections, rust or damage that put the stability of the system at risk. Immediate replacement.

Three damage grades, one clear decision

Rack inspection is a critical process to guarantee worker safety and the correct operation of goods storage systems.
